Salam Ramadhan Al-Mubarak to all my valued customers. Dah rasa lama sangat tak masuk blog ni. Super duperly busy dengan kerja hingga nak bernafas pun tak ada masa (tipulah tu :)

FYI, last night my handphone went kaput/hang sampai semua sms dan most of my customers punya phone numbers hilang. Jantung saya bagaikan nak gugur dibuatnya. Mana tak nya. Semua order kek lapis yg saya terima adalah melalui sms.

Salam Bake It Right to all. Really2 sorry for the long silence since I am stuck with some personal matters at this moment. I am also very sorry for not being able to accept any orders temporarily until further notice. Minta maaf banyak2.

Above pictures have been e-mailed over to me by my lovely customer, Irza from Kajang. Irza has seen the pictures of the birthday cakes that have been ordered by Anna from Seremban and she wanted the similar birthday cakes for her two kids, the most adorable Qaseh and Qalif. She has placed her order very2 much in advance to ensure that she gets the right cake for their birthday.

And when the time comes, she has come all the way from Kajang to collect the cakes and I was so happy to meet her on that day. Thanks very2 much Irza for the trust and support and I was really glad when I received the below sms from her:

The picture above is a courtesy from my teacher Anna from Bakefreshly in Putrajaya. Cantikkan gambar yang dia ambil. She is using an SLR camera. That is why her picture is sharp and beautiful (not like my mini camera yang kena ambil gambar 20 kali baru dapat gambar yang OK :)

When I went for a class at her place the other day, I had also brought together with me the kek lapis cadburry for makan2. She really likes it and had ordered a cake after the class. She has also helped me to promote my cake in her facebook and also in her blog. Since then, lots of people from outside Seremban has ordered this cake from me :). I have even received an order from the UK :)

currently im addicted to this cake, cadbury layer cake! heaven okeh. serious tak tipu sedapnya. sebab im not a sweet tooth person but once i try this cake, thats it. keep on munching it again and again. sampai i kena order dengan student i, norain. actually norain bagi i rasa masa datang kelas last few weeks. tak cukup okeh.

to be frank, the price is quite reasonable to me. tak senang okay nak buat layer cake ni. once upon a time, i pun pernah jual prune layer cake. so i know how tedious is it just to make 1 cake! and this cake, uhuhu.... the taste, the smell of pure butter memang terasa-rasa & terbau-bau...

After the first order, Anna has also ordered 2 more cakes that will be delivered to her today and 2 more that will be delivered in 2 weeks time for her sisters who are currently studying abroad.

Basket of Indulgence for Kak Munirah

When I first posted the Basket of Indulgence Cake last month, Kak Munirah a.k.a Kak Meera, my lovely neighbour had ordered the same cake for her birthday a month in advance.

She specifically mentioned that she wanted the same cake and will ask her husband to pay :) It is very seldom that people will order their own birthday cake but Kak Meera really wants to make sure she gets the right cake that she really2 likes for her birthday :) ... so very cute of her :)

So, the time has come and I have prepared a special Basket of Indulgence, topped with fresh strawberries, especially for Kak Meera, one of my early and regular customers. This cake is an 8" cake, and it is heavy (cake + indulgence cream + choc ganache = 2.5kg).

Kak Meera has also ordered in advance a birthday cake for her son Fikri for his birthday in Dec :) Thanks kak!

My university buddy Syahrul Hadis, who is now serving at Bank Negara KL, has ordered this superbly delicious Kek Lapis Cadbury last week. It has been a while since I last met Hadis and when we met at NAC 2009 in KL last 2 weeks, I did brought along some Kek Lapis Cadbury and gave him to try. He liked it and ordered this cake for makan2.

I have couriered out to him this kek lapis all the way to KL and Alhamdulillah, this cake was still intact and was still in one piece :) The most important thing, the taste is still delicious.

Hence, for those who is outside Seremban that would like to try this superbly delicious Kek Lapis Cadbury, do let me know ya since I can courier them out to you guys out there.

Here is my first ever Wedding Tower. This was an order from my lovely neighbour Kak Nany, for her cousin's wedding in Seremban 2. For the top tier, is a butter cake with steamed butter cream frosting and fondant flowers. The lower tier consists of mixed flavours cupcakes with butter cream frosting and fondant flowers.

I did not manage to take the pictures during the cake cutting ceremony since I need to rush back early. Glad to hear from Kak Nany that they love the cake. Thanks kak for the order :)

At the same time, at my grand aunt's house, I have met my so called dua tiga pupu (kupu2 kot :) Kasha and he had a peek on my kek lapis. Really sorry that I have not been able to update the blog with the latest products and news. Have been quite busy lately.

Above are a few pictures of my latest baking project i.e. the lovely Sugar Cookies. They are very delicious with beautiful decorations and suitable to be used as door gifts for Baby Showers, Birthdays, Wedding Favours, and lots more.

I will be posting more pictures soon on other baking projects that I have done so far...miniature cake, doll cake and vegetarian cake....so, TUNGGUUUUU .......

Salam Merdeka to all. Hope that everybody had a great Merdeka weekend. In conjunction with the Merdeka celebration, I would like to share with the rest on the Merdeka cake a.k.a. kek bendera that I have made in Aug.

This was an order from the lovely Kak Suhaya, my repeat customer, for her school SK Sepri. I was really excited since this was my first time doing the kek bendera.

Alhamdulillah, Kak Suhaya told me that they like the cake, very chocolaty and moisty :)

Unfortunately however, I don't have the close up picture of the cake since my dearest husband have accidentally formatted the camera and wiped off all the pictures. Will share out the close up picture of the cake once I have got it from the teachers of SK Sepri ya.... (The picture above is from SK Sepri's blog)

Fyi, this Friday/Saturday is the fruit tart day. These delicious tartlets are available for grab in a smaller qty i.e. 9pcs, 18pcs and 25pcs. FYI, the normal minimum qty to order is 50 pcs and since this week is a special Ramadan week, I am selling them in a smaller qty instead.

Hence, do let me know if you would like to grab these mouth watering and superbly delicious fruit tarts ya.

This cake was for my baby sitter, Kak Zai for her birthday. Happy Birthday kak...

p/s: the cake board is much bigger then the cake...sorrylah...the smaller cake boards are out of stock :(

I have attended a Wedding Cake Course at Artisan Cake Craft. It was a very good course and highly recommended to others.

All of the 3 tiers are having different designs so that we can have the experience on how to go abt with each of the respective design.

These two hantaran cakes are the product of mine (in blue) and Ila (in pink). We have learnt on how to make this lovely cake from Anna @ Bakefreshly in Putrajaya.

This hantaran cake is for my nephew's wedding. The theme colour is Hijau Lumut. It is kind of difficult to make flowers using this colour and hence, I have used a readily available flowers instead. That is why it the flowers look slightly bigger than the normal ones.

This hantaran wedding cake was ordered by the lovely Kak Suhaya, my repeat customer. The theme is red and she wants the cake to be in white colour. I have used the steamed butter cream technique for this cake since she does not want a fondant cake since a fondant cake is a little bit hard.

"Steamed butter cream" is just like a normal butter cream icing except for that we need to steam it. The end result on the cake is that the cake will look much smoother and fluffier, just like using a fondant except for that it is not as hard as fondant and texture and taste wise it is much nicer than the normal butter cream.

All of these 3 tiered wedding cakes are using the steamed butter cream techniques. The cakes will look so much smoother than the normal butter cream and the texture is not as hard as fondant the taste is much nicer.

This hantaran cupcakes are for my nephew's wedding Zaki. The theme colour is maroon. This cake has gone all the way to Kelantan for the wedding reception.

Chocolates For Hantaran or Gifts

These chocolates have been ordered for a hantaran except for the smaller boxes. The smaller boxes ones (which contains 2 and 4 chocolates) are just for samples for those who are thinking of giving out chocolates as a door gift during weddings, kenduri aqiqah and etc. A simple ribbon will be placed on the box.

This is the all time favourite food since and I have received lots of orders for them. They are absolutely delicious since it combines the lovely taste of the sweet pastry, the very much favourite custard and the mouth watering fresh fruits (strawberry, kiwi and peach).

The minimum quantity to order for this is 50 pcs.
